The Great Inflator could not have been more excited to create beautiful balloon décor for this baby shower!
Alysa reached out with dreamy inspiration photos and a description of her vision for her bumble bee-themed baby shower at La Scala’s Fire in Marlton, New Jersey.
Chelsea worked with Alysa to find the perfect color balloons to match her inspiration photo and plan the location of the balloon garland.
Discussing venue layout and potential places to mount the décor is an essential step in our planning process!
Together they decided to attach the garland to a freestanding arch behind the gifting table and peacock chair since there was not an accessible wall within the space.
The day of the event was very rainy, but that didn’t dampen the party at La Scala’s Fire.
Chelsea arrived early at the restaurant and started work on the garland while Alysa and her family decorated the private event space with other décor.
She found the perfect place for the arch, tucking the base slightly under the corner booth to hide one of the bases of the stand while keeping it out of the path for restaurant staff.
She added clusters of Sempertex balloons in Pastel Matte Cream, Toffee, Fashion Yellow to the stand. They decided to go with a half arch not to overwhelm the space and stay true to the initial inspiration photo.
Alysa and her family brought faux sunflowers and bumble bee cutouts to add pops of fun to this buzzy arrangement! Then Chelsea added a few additional balloons of various sizes to complete the organic garland.
Chelsea also added a few balloons to the welcome sign, which gave the display a little pop of color!
Alysa was so impressed with the final design and its likeness to the original inspiration photo. We had so much fun with this theme, too!
