Our recent collaboration with Puzzle Pieces Squared (P2) for their First Annual Autism Fun Walk and Halloween Fundraising Party at Cooper River Park Track was nothing short of spook-tacular.
Trisha from P2 reached out to us to create a balloon large balloon display to draw participants to the main event tent.
The original idea was a grand 20-foot balloon arch stretching across the track, but after working through a few logistical details, our expert balloon designer, Chelsea, and Trish decided to go with 2 8-foot balloon towers.
With the event taking place so close to Halloween, Trish knew she wanted to go with colors inspired by the holiday.
Chelsea selected Fashion Orange, Fashion Black, Metallic Purple, and Fashion Key Lime Green Sempertex Balloons in a festive spiral design attached to a weighted tower base.
The skies were clear and blue on the morning of the event. Chelsea arrived early to set up at the registration tent before participants arrived!
Gusts of wind presented a little bit of a challenge after the initial set up, even with the 10 lb. weighted base!
Chelsea was quick to a solution though, anchoring the towers to the tent poles with twine to ensure they weren’t going anywhere.
The event was a great success – nearly 150 community members came together to raise money to support local families.
