Helium Shortage? Consider Balloon Towers!

Global helium shortage? Don’t worry — The Great Inflator’s got you covered! Balloon Tree Stands are a great way to get the look of helium-filled balloons without the helium.

Why Helium?

Helium is a rare substance that is produced when uranium decays. And while the United States is one of the world’s largest producers, supply chain issues have severely affected the global supply. Helium is used to cool the magnets in MRI machines, in manufacturing semiconductor chips, and even by the National Weather Service.

Baby Shower at The Ballroom

Our client stepped in at the last minute to help plan a baby shower at The Ballroom at Hampton Square in Southampton, PA. The theme was a mix of Woodland Creatures and National Park.

She wanted traditional bunches of balloons spread through the room, as opposed to one large balloon installation like an organic garland or an arch. Knowing helium is expensive and hard to come by, we knew balloon trees were the perfect solution.

Getting to Work!

We sent over color options and then got to work air-filling the balloons and assembling the stands. The installation was a breeze. The hardest part was figuring out where to place the stands!
