Rainbows are a fun way to add color and whimsy to a party, but they can also have a deeper meaning for a baby shower or gender reveal party. A “rainbow baby” is a term for a baby that’s born after the parents have suffered pregnancy loss. The name represents beauty after a dark time, like a rainbow after a storm.
A Pop of Color for the “Rainbow Baby”
This weekend, we had the honor of creating an organic pastel rainbow balloon arch for the sweetest family. Our rainbow arch was the perfect addition to their gender reveal party. They celebrated their “rainbow baby” with their family and friends in their stunning backyard. This was our first rainbow baby gender reveal party, and we were so excited to be there!
Adding Color to an Ordinary Tent
The family had a large tent delivered to the house to serve as a spot for the caterer and food. The clients asked us to build a rainbow arch for their guests to walk under as they entered the tent. We blew up most of the arch off-site so it was a fairly quick install. Once on-site, we just had to attach it to the tent poles, blow up some of the extra-large balloons and then add some small clusters to fill in the gaps.
We added this pastel rainbow arch to their outdoor party!
