Graduation season is in full swing! Today we were in Shamong, NJ hoping to add the wow factor to a medical school graduation party. We were tasked with adding two organic balloon garlands on either side of the driveway so party attendees couldn’t miss the entrance and some more balloons for the backyard.
The Set Up
We filled up three cars with balloons and headed out bright and early. We had bamboo poles cut to size to help with the height of the garland. And in just under two hours, we had the entrance garlands up and ready for guests to arrive.
The Great Inflator vs. The Weather
Then we headed to the backyard where the party was to take place. The client had decided on two balloon trees but the weather had other plans!
We ended up having to take them apart and create two mini garlands and attach them to the bar tent.
Outdoor events like this often challenge us to think outside of the box for solutions to inclement weather. The bar tent ended up being exactly what we needed to keep these mini garlands put.
Despite the crazy weather, this set up turned out great!
Due to the weather and wind, we decided to attach two mini balloon garlands to the bar tent.
NJ’s Newest Doctor!
Working with balloons outside is not the easiest job. And this install brought lots of challenges — rain, wind, grass, and heat. But with a little creativity and planning, we were able to overcome it all and install these two supersized balloon garlands and two mini garlands.
Thank you so much for inviting us to be a part of this special day. And best of luck to NJ’s newest doctor!
